CMMI compliance precludes many small businesses from being eligible for federal competition. I envision CMMI.club as a suite of services that help small business establish and maintain compliance at a very low cost.
The CMMI is for established organizations to incrementally improve process (1 to n). It is not an appropriate framework for invention (0 to 1).
